The spring blooms were in full swing for Mike and Danielle's wedding at Freedom Hill. A little bit of wind and rain couldn't stop these lovebirds from walking down the aisle, since they've been together nearly 10 years! It started to sprinkle during Mike & Danielle's first look, but they didn't let it ruin the day and we ended up getting some cute shots of them holding umbrella's out in the rain. The rain let up just in time for the ceremony so they could still get married outdoors as planned. Danielle put a TON of time into making nearly every detail of their wedding from scratch including the bouquets, corsages, candy bar, and even those gorgeous centerpieces at the reception! The candlelight reflecting off of the crystals hanging from the branches really added a romantic touch! The Tiffany blue theme color was perfect for spring. Danielle's advice to other brides looking to DIY for their weddings is to have fun with it and allow yourself lots of extra time! I am so glad that Mike and Danielle chose me to capture their truly unique wedding day!
